Intel's SVT-HEVC H.265 encoder was enjoying some minor improvements on Clear Linux and CentOS Stream 0.

Their VP9 encoder also was faster too on this Xeon Platinum 8380 current-generation server when using end-of 2022 Linux distributions.

Clear Linux and CentOS Stream were seeing slight improvements in AVIF image encoding performance while Ubuntu was slower with its defaults both for early 2021 and EO 2022.
