In a number of the scientific workloads, Ubuntu 19.04 is running faster than Ubuntu 18.10 on the two Intel systems under test. However, Clear Linux still tended to be much faster than Ubuntu. Though in a few Rodinia/Parboil test cases, Clear Linux did surprisingly fall behind as possible regressions. The Clear Linux tests are in here for reference with the Intel-developed Linux distribution often delivering the leading out-of-the-box Linux performance for x86_64 hardware.

It's nice to see Ubuntu 19.04 indeed offering better performance on the two quite different systems compared to the Ubuntu 18.10 performance.
