Power Consumption & Thermal Testing With The Core i9 7900X On Linux

OpenSSL runs very well on the Core i9 7900X.

While the average CPU temp for the Core i9 7900X runs up to 71~75C on average with the tested coolers. The Noctua heatsink is doing a good job keeping the peak temperatures lower than the i11.

While the average power use for the i9-7900X is at 236 Watts compared to 113 Watts with the i7-770K Kabylake or Ryzen 7 1800X.

But on a performance-per-Watt basis, the Skylake-X CPU did come out in front still.
