The current RadeonSI Gallium3D driver stack continues to struggle with BioShock Infinite, but that should change in a number of days. Daily Phoronix readers should know that there are a number of RadeonSI / Mesa ST patches currently on the mailing list that will hopefully merge in the days ahead to significantly improve the open-source driver performance for this game.

The two Polaris cards tested in this article were running between the GTX 960 and GTX 970 when running Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

Hopefully Vega will be more competitive on performance-per-Watt.
