DiRT Rally (not 2.0, which can run under Steam Play with Vulkan) is a bit of a peculiar Linux game port that still displays warnings over AMD Linux graphics support. There is also some performance oddities even at 1440p like the Radeon VII performance only matching the RX Vega 56 and not scaling too well between the graphics cards. But here at least the Radeon RX 5700 series did beat out the existing Vega and even VII graphics cards with the RX 5700XT coming between the RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti.

In the case of Unigine Heaven at 1440p, the RX 5700 performance only matched the RX Vega 64 and the 5700XT was just past the RTX 2080 but under the VII.

What's most exciting though is looking at the real power efficiency gains with Navi 10. The Radeon RX 5700/5700XT are now successfully competing with the NVIDIA Turing cards in power efficiency.

Navi was doing even better with Unigine Valley's OpenGL performance, which is where RadeonSI has traditionally performed quite well against NVIDIA's Linux driver.
