The LuxMark OpenCL results continue to be mixed.

NVIDIA's closed-source OpenCL Linux driver performance continued to lead in a number of the tests, but the AMDGPU-PRO OpenCL stack on the R9 Fury and RX 480 were competitive -- and even won -- in a few of the benchmarks. The NVIDIA driver stack remains highly optimized but sadly in 2017 they are still only supporting OpenCL 1.2. On the Radeon side, the AMDGPU-PRO OpenCL support is much more mature while with ROCm 1.4 its new OpenCL stack is considered a "developer preview" (alpha) but will hopefully become more on-par with AMDGPU-PRO later this year and should also be fully open-source.
