NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 On Linux: Testing With OpenGL, OpenCL, CUDA & Vulkan
Running Caffe AlexNet as a deep learning benchmark, the GTX 1070 performance was right around the speed of a GTX 980 Ti and GTX TITAN X.
As expected considering the OpenCL results, the CUDA performance in SHOC was very strong and continued showing the GTX 1070 being able to outpace the GTX TITAN X.
With the CUDA mini-nbody benchmark, the GTX 1070 came out behind the GTX 980 Ti, but still a measurable improvement over the GTX 970.
