Another Look At The Maturing AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series Linux Performance

Some older Linux-native games making use of OpenGL were fired up for seeing how the RadeonSI Gallium3D performance is looking. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided saw the RX 5700 XT running frames below the RX Vega 64 and the RX 5700 in line with the RX Vega 56, but hopefully it won't be long before well known AMD open-source OpenGL driver developer Marek has that figured out and addressed.

When using the Linux OpenGL port of HITMAN, RadeonSI performs fantastic where the Radeon RX 5700 (non-XT) can even trade blows with the GeForce RTX 2080 and where the Radeon VII can edge out the RTX 2080 TI.
