Another Look At The Maturing AMD Radeon RX 5700 Series Linux Performance

With Hitman 2 we're returning to another Steam Play game where the Radeon RX 5700 series is performing well with the RX 5700 XT even matching the Radeon VII and both of those parts slightly ahead of the GeForce RTX 2080.

Even at 4K with low quality settings, the RX 5700 XT was ahead of the RTX 2080 and the RX 5700 ahead of the RTX 2070.

But when slamming the cards with the ultra quality visuals, the Radeon RX 5700 XT came in behind the RTX 2080 and even the RX Vega 64 on the AMD side while the performance was similar between the RX 5700 XT and non-XT models, likely indicating further Vulkan driver work necessary.
