Dota 2 with OpenGL is much faster using the RadeonSI driver than AMDGPU-PRO, but most of you likely already knew that... RadeonSI Gallium3D has advanced a heck of a lot over the past year.

But now even the RADV Vulkan performance with Dota 2 at 1080p on the RX 580 is faster than the AMDGPU-PRO driver. Do note though the RadeonSI OpenGL performance for this game is still faster than these Vulkan numbers, but at least AMDGPU-PRO's Vulkan performance is better than its OpenGL performance.

Running Dota 2 at 4K with OpenGL, RadeonSI from Mesa 17.3 was about 30% faster.

But in this case at 4K, the AMDGPU-PRO 17.30 driver was a few frames faster than RADV on Mesa 17.3-dev.
