Clear Linux was delivering the best results for the Kvazaar open-source H.265 encoder.

Surprisingly macOS 12.1 was picking up wins for the Rust-written rav1e AV1 encoder performance on this Core i7 8700B Mac Mini.

MacOS 12.1 also led for x265 with 1080p content albeit by a very slim lead.
