AMD Radeon Graphics Performance With The Linux 3.19 Kernel
After waiting more than one year for the open-source support to get into good shape for the AMD Hawaii GPUs, at least things are running fairly well now for the Radeon R9 290 with the open-source Linux driver. Hopefully Radeon R9 285 Tonga users won't need to wait a full year for their open-source support to come via the new and yet-to-be-released AMDGPU kernel driver.
Xonotic wasn't showing much change in performance with the four tested AMD GPUs aside from the Radeon R9 290 potentially being a tad bit faster.
