Intel Xe Graphics Are Looking Great On Linux 5.11 With Nice Performance Uplift
Overall the graphics tests were generally seeing nice improvements out of Linux 5.11 on top of the mature graphics driver support already in place for a number of kernel cycles for Tiger Lake Gen12.
The Vulkan compute performance has been stable on Linux 5.11 with seeing no measurable changes in performance there.
Overall, the Intel Xe Graphics are looking even better with Linux 5.11 given some additional performance and features like integer scaling. Linux 5.11 should be promoted to stable in February. Additional tests looking at the Intel graphics performance back to Skylake will be coming up soon on Phoronix.
