When running the HD Graphics 4400 on Linux with the graphics stack found in Ubuntu 13.10 (Linux 3.10 + Mesa 9.2), we see right away that the Core i3 4130 coming in right ahead of the Core i7 3770K "Ivy Bridge" with HD Graphics 4000 but measurably behind the Core i7 4770K with HD Graphics 4600. There are clock speed and core differences between the six CPUs, but at least this provides a real-world OpenGL graphics/gaming look between the past three generations of Intel processors.

It's quite remarkable to see the Core i3 Haswell with HD Graphics 4400 delivering faster OpenGL graphics over any Core i3 or Core i5 CPU tested from the Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge generations.
