Initial Benchmarks With Intel oneAPI Level Zero Performance

And I also ran some Intel oneAPI benchmarks on a variety of other random Intel systems in the benchmark lab:

Again, these numbers today are mainly for reference/evaluation purposes in testing out the initial Level Zero / Compute-Runtime Linux bits in their current form and being a benchmark junkie so was eager to try out Intel's new open-source test cases.

If you want to see how your own Linux system(s) with Intel graphics compare to these results and you have Level Zero + Compute-Runtime installed, simply run phoronix-test-suite benchmark oneapi-level-zero for your own side-by-side benchmark comparison or. (Note for installing all necessary build dependencies, you may need to be using the Phoronix Test Suite 9.6 development snapshots depending upon your system configuration.) There is also the phoronix-test-suite benchmark oneapi for the other test profiles built around Intel oneAPI components, which we continue to test with for various benchmark articles/reviews. In any case, great to see Intel developers continuing to put out new public test cases for their oneAPI components and we certainly remain interested to see oneAPI's continued advancements this year especially with Xe Graphics on the horizon.
