Running Intel's full OSPRay Studio software rather than just benchmarking the OSPRay engine itself continued to show the Ryzen 9 7950X performing faster renders than the Core i9 13900K.

Intel's oneAPI Embree ray-tracing kernels were also consistently faster with the Ryzen 9 7950X over the Core i9 13900K.

Here too the Ryzen 7000 series was delivering better performance-per-Watt over the Core i9 13900K.

With Intel's oneAPI OpenVKL volume kernel library, the scalar back-end saw the Core i9 13900K coming out ahead while with the ISPC back-end that supports AVX-512 usage, the Ryzen 9 7950X was 16% faster than the Core i9 13900K.

Intel's Open Image Denoise (OIDN) library with AVX-512 support also meant that even the Ryzen 9 7900X was faster than the Core i9 13900K.
