For the last portion of today's Raptor lake Linux benchmarking is looking at the Linux gaming performance with the Radeon RX 6800 XT on the recent open-source drivers.

With DiRT Rally 2.0 running on Linux by way of Steam Play with DXVK, at low quality settings the Ryzen 7000 series processors were delivering better performance while as the quality increased the Raptor Lake CPU was performing similar to Zen 4.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider as a native Linux game using Vulkan and ported by Feral Interactive saw the Core i9 13900K performing similar to the Zen 4 and Ryzen 7 5800X3D processors. Some nice healthy uplift over the Core i9 12900K Alder Lake.

Total War: Three Kingdoms as a native Linux game also ported by feral was an outlier. This was the only game showing the Core i9 13900K regressing on Linux compared to the Core i9 12900K, which may be due to poor E vs. P core selection or similar. At the moment it isn't clear why Total War Three Kingdoms on Linux wasn't liking Raptor Lake but given past hybrid woes on Linux, it's likely some poor scheduler behavior, also considering Alder Lake was performing behind the Rocket Lake i9-11900K too.
