The performance-per-dollar metrics tend to be a mix between the Ryzen 7 2700, Ryzen 7 2700X, Core i7 8700K, and Core i7 8086K. With the i7-8086K being a limited edition processor and Intel's current only desktop CPU delivering a 5.0GHz turbo frequency, it certainly carries a price premium of $425 USD compared to the $370 for the i7-8700K or the $320 for the Ryzen 7 2700X. Of the performance-per-dollar metrics, the Ryzen 7 2700X came out in front 45% of the time, the Ryzen 7 2700 was the best value 27% of the time, and 22% of the time is where the Core i7 8700K had the best value.
