AMD Radeon RX 6800 vs. NVIDIA RTX 30 Linux Performance Heating Up
Total War: Three Kingdoms that is native to Linux and rendered using Vulkan saw the RTX 3080 and RX 6800 XT competing tightly. The Radeon performance is still much better off than we saw on launch day, showing how far the AMD Radeon open-source driver code has come over the past three months.
The various Unigine OpenGL benchmarks saw the Radeon RX 6800 XT outperforming the RTX 3080 normally by healthy margins.
Similarly, Basemark was showing the Radeon RX 6800 XT outperforming the RTX 3080 on these latest NVIDIA/AMD Linux drivers tested on Ubuntu.
