AMD A10-7850K vs. Intel/AMD CPU/APU Comparison

With John The Ripper's MD5 test, the A10-7850K was now 20% faster than the AMD Richland APU while compared to the i5-4670 it was just a tad faster.

Using x264 video encoding on the Kaveri APU showed the A10-7850K running at around the same speed as the Core i3 4130 Haswell CPU.

Another workload where Intel CPUs continue to dominate is with the Himeno Poisson Pressure Solver. At least with Kaveri we see a 33% increase in performance over the top-end Richland APU in this heavy processor test.

When measuring compile times the Core i5 4670 did much better than the A10-7850K.
