Power demands are increasing with every new generation of processors, graphics cards, and many other hardware components. High-end computers these days consume more and more power, and the power supply industry continues to release new units at a blazing pace. It is now no longer uncommon or overkill to own a 500 or 600W power supply, with some PSUs in Japan supporting up to 900W! Today, we’ll be checking out the ePower Technology Tagan that has a total wattage output of 480W, which is suitable for most systems currently, and supports ATX and EPS power connectors on motherboards.

Enclosed inside the rather large yet impressive cardboard packaging, we found the Tagan user’s manual, four colored Velcro strips (for cable organization purposes), four mounting screws, standard US power cable, and finally, the actual 480W PSU.
