A New Unigine Engine Demo Coming: Valley

Back in 2008 the Unigine Tropics demo was stunning for Linux graphics -- and it really remains that way still three years later -- and since then only raising the bar even higher has been Unigine Heaven. With proper binary graphics drivers on Linux, Unigine Heaven is breathtaking with its OpenGL 3/4 renderer. Heaven on Windows also was the first DirectX 11.0 benchmark and is amazing there too.
Unigine Corp is now gearing up to release a "Valley" demo in the near future. Today they have released a video of Unigine Valley. The Valley demo shows off the proprietary engine rendering a very large landscape with lots of foliage, etc. It should be quite interesting and takes advantage of the various engine improvements talked about in recent months.
In related news, Unigine has also decided to offer Linux support for the Unigine Indie Starter Kit, as talked about in this article, where I was advocating they provide this Linux support.
More details on Unigine Valley soon as I have them and allowed to share.
