Linux 3.15 Picks Up New Notebook Support
The x86 platform driver update was pulled today for the Linux 3.15 kernel, which includes new notebook support.
The x86 platform driver pull has support for new keyboard features on the Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon, many updates to Sony and Toshiba drivers, and a new driver for upcoming Alienware hardware. The Toshiba ACPI driver also has touchpad enable/disable support, accelerometer support, ECO mode LED support, and other features. Last but not least is also a new Bay Trail IOSF-SB MBI driver.
