A Linux Port Of Baldur's Gate Is Being Looked At
The creative director for Overhaul Games' Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition title has shared that they're looking at making a native Linux port.
Trent Oster shared a few hours ago via Twitter that "We are in talks around creating a Linux version of Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Editon #bgee."
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is a remake of the original Baldur's Gate role-playing game. The Baldur's Gate RPG, which was extremely popular with gamers the first time around, is scheduled for release in September. Current platforms that are being supported include Windows, iOS, OS X, and Android. Hopefully now Linux will be joining the release too, but with the initial launch being just weeks away, it looks like the Linux client would ship at some point later.
