Easy PC Kits Premium Lapping Kit

Lapping can be a real pain, but with so many different sand paper types out there, so can paper selection. Even after long hours of searching for the correct grits, you may still end up with papers that are hard to work with or deteriorate too quickly. Even if you make it through and lap the heatsink to a mirror finish, there is still a chance that the heatsink is not actually flat! Easy PC Kits is trying to solve these difficulties by providing an all-in-one kit for lapping your precious heatsink.

The package came well protected in a USPS videocassette size box. Inside, we found a Premium Heat Sink Lapping Kit and a grab bag of free twisty-ties. Quite nice of Easy PC Kits to include the ties since they will come in quite handy. There was also a tube of Arctic Silver 5 included. Inside the kit are nine sheets of sand paper with the following grits: 400, 600, 800, 1000, 40 micron, 25 micron, 20 micron, 15 micron, and 10 micron. Also included are a detailed instruction sheet and a piece of glass that is used to ensure that the sanding surface is flat.
