With a quick CacheBench run we see much better performance on Antergos and Clear Linux over Ubuntu 17.10 in its current development form.

GraphicsMagick was the fastest on the Intel hardware and using Clear Linux yielded slightly higher performance over Ubuntu and Antergos.

The AVX-heavy Himeno runs much faster with Intel hardware.

Clear Linux secures another victory with C-Ray while Threadripper runs the fastest due to the higher core count on the 1950X over 7900X.
