With the F1 2017 Vulkan-powered racing game at 1080p with ultra high quality settings, the Radeon R9 290 and GeForce GTX 780 Ti could still put out around 60 frames per second... But the latest-generation GeForce GTX 1080 series come in as twice as fast.

At 4K with low quality settings, the RX Vega 64 continued coming just in line with the GTX 1070 series.

Unfortunately for Linux gamers there is not yet any F1 2018 port or compatibility with Steam Play / Proton at this time.

The DiRT Rally racing game is left in a bit of an odd state currently on the NVIDIA side. The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was repeatedly hanging in the game and in this game the Radeon performance is very good with even the RX Vega 56 coming in line with the GTX 1080...

Even with 4K ultra quality settings for this racing game, the Radeon performance was coming in very strong.
