Similar to the Intel results, for the Radeon DRM comparison there really isn't much to see with the official Doom 3 game for Linux.

When running Nexuiz, the Doom 3 performance dropped between Linux 3.4 and 3.6. Between Linux 3.4 to 3.6, the DRM driver can handle OpenGL 3.0 support when running with the latest Mesa code, so different code-paths may have been taken by the game. Anti-aliasing may have also come into play here on the Radeon side, just like with the Intel graphics, since Nexuiz is trying to run with AA enabled. With the Linux 3.8 kernel, the frame-rate is elevated by a few percent.

From Linux 3.4 to 3.7, the Radeon DRM performance was unchanged for OpenArena. However, putting on the Linux 3.8 kernel yields a 11% performance gain for this ioquake3 game.
