John The Ripper is one of the OpenMP workloads that can scale well easily to 16~20 cores at least, thus the ranking comes as no surprise.

TTSIOD is another core-happy benchmark and will be interesting to see how Intel Core-X compares and hopefully getting access to AMD ThreadRipper or Epyc too.

The Ryzen 7 1800X was able to secure another slight victory when it comes to the GraphicsMagick image resizing performance.

Even with Zen CPUs having AVX2, they come noticeably behind the Intel CPUs in the Himeno pressure solver test.
