With Dawn of War III there was a measurable difference in performance between the Ryzen and Intel Core CPUs. The RadeonSI OpenGL performance remains faster than Vulkan for DoW3. With the modern Linux games not scaling well to many cores, Ryzen's lower IPC performance hurts the frame-rates for some Linux games such as this recent Feral Linux game port.

With Mad Max, the Intel CPUs led to higher Linux gaming performance than the Ryzen processors, in some scenes there was a significant difference..

When using Mad Max with Vulkan, the AMD gaming performance was still lower but between RADV and RadeonSI we are seeing stronger Vulkan performance in some scenes compared to the results found with RADV vs. RadeonSI in other Linux games on Mesa Git.
