Solaris Express Community Edition Build 93

In Build 93 there are 97 issues resolved within the Solaris "Nevada" kernel and related areas. The changes range from URLs in the DTrace HTML guide being corrected to updating the Intel microcode for Solaris. The OpenSolaris ONNV change-log for Build 93 can be viewed at Sun's documentation website. On the X side of SXCE Build 93 is updating rgb, xload, xkbprint, and xslfonts to the open-source versions. In addition, xinit has been updated to v1.1.0 and freetype to v2.3.6.

It's good to see GNOME and several of the desktop packages finally up-to-date. Unfortunately, however, not everything is updated; the main package we are still waiting on is Firefox 3.0 for Solaris Nevada. Besides that, we are still hoping for some of the innovations done as part of Project Indiana (now known as OpenSolaris 2008.05) to be back-ported into the Solaris Express Community releases.
