AMD Ryzen 8500G / 8600G / 8700G Performance @ 35 Watt & 45 Watt cTDP
For single-threaded workloads like JetStream 2.0 within Mozilla Firefox there wasn't much benefit from the reduced cTDP levels since out-of-the-box their power draw here was typically low.
But for the multi-threaded workloads is obviously where the lower cTDP values can make a significant impact on performance and power.
For those more concerned about power efficiency, the 8600G/8700G at 35 and 45 Watt levels did help increase their performance-per-Watt in workloads like PyTorch.
Similarly, the performance-per-Watt went up sharply for these 8000G series APUs when running TensorFlow with 35/45 Watt settings.
