Next up are the more demanding benchmarks where the tested hardware was limited to the higher-tier graphics cards of relevance.

3DMark Wild Life Extreme benchmark with settings of Resolution: 3840 x 2160. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

With 3DMark Wild Life Extreme at 4K, the RTX 4080 SUPER was 13% faster still than the RTX 4080 and coming out ahead of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX. The Radeon RX 7900 XT was performing in between the new RTX 4070 SUPER and RTX 4070 Ti SUPER graphics cards for this Linux testing.

The GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards continued looking very good from the power efficiency perspective.

DiRT Rally 2.0 benchmark with settings of Resolution: 3840 x 1600, Graphics Preset: Ultra. RTX 4090 was the fastest.

The RTX 4070 was coming in just under the 120 FPS mark on average for the DiRT Rally 2.0 racing game at 4K while the RTX 4070 SUPER was matching the RTX 3090 level of performance and the RTX 4080 SUPER coming in slightly faster than the RTX 4080.

The GeForce RTX 40 series was consistently showing its nice performance per Watt advantage over the RTX 30 series and being very competitive with the Radeon RX 7000 series.
