Mesa GL Thread Testing With Pentium + Core i7 & RX 580 + R9 Fury

First up was the BioShock Infinite benchmark, which is known to benefit from mesa_glthread. Sure enough, there was a big performance difference with the exception of the Core i7 7700K integrated graphics. The Pentium CPU with R9 Fury saw its performance go up by 24% while when using the R9 Fury on the Core i7 7700K it was up by 35%.

The Civilization VI benchmark does benefit from mesa_glthread, but to a lesser extent. Here the Core i7 7700K with R9 Fury was faster by 20%. The frame-rates for Civ VI remain low with RadeonSI, showing more open-source driver work still to be done for this game.
