The SQLite database performance regressed for both EXT4 and Btrfs in the Linux 2.6.36 cycle on this system with an Intel Core i7 and OCZ Vertex 2 SSD.

Yep, even the Gzip compression performance regressed in Linux 2.6.36.

Even the time it took to extract a Linux kernel package (linux-2.6.36.tar.bz2) took much longer in the Linux 2.6.36 kernel.
