Intel Bay Trail NUC Linux Performance Preview
When kicking things off with the HPC Challenge and the HPL test, the Intel Bay Trail Celeron system was running much faster than the quad-core Cortex-A9 system (almost twice as fast) and much better than the other systems except for the Intel Core processors. The Core i3 330M was running faster than the Celeron N2820, but that's comparing a 35 Watt processor to 4.5~7.5W SoC.
The Bay Trail Linux performance was similar as well with the other scientific benchmarks used.
The performance-per-Watt of the Bay Trail NUC is incredible as will be shown in the proper Bay Trail Linux benchmarks that are still ongoing at Phoronix.
