The A580 performance was close to the A700 cards with the Embree ray-tracing kernels.

OpenVKL benchmark with settings of Benchmark: vklBenchmarkGPU Intel oneAPI SYCL. Arc A770 was the fastest.

OpenVKL 2.0 was just recently introduced and with initial SYCL-based GPU acceleration. In my first run of OpenVKL 2.0 it's been performing well across the Arc Graphivs DG2/Alchemist range of graphics processors.

The performance-per-Watt of the A580 was right inline with the existing DG2/Alchemist cards.

At $179 USD, the Arc Graphics A580 delivers great value.
