Intel Core i5 12600K / Core i9 12900K "Alder Lake" Linux Performance

The Kvazaar H.265 video encoder was also seeing the Ryzen 9 5950X still leading but at least the i9-12900K dancing with the 5900X.

Intel's own SVT-AV1 video encoder sae the Core i9 12900K delivering roughly the same performance as the Core i9 11900K. SVT-AV1 does have AVX-512 optimizations which is why Rocket Lake is performing very well for SVT-AV1 but no AVX-512 with Alder Lake.

Intel's SVT HEVC H.265 video encoder saw great performance with Alder Lake with the i9-12900K competing against the 5950X and in some cases outperforming it.

Similarly, Intel's SVT-VP9 was running very well on Alder Lake.
