With these results, there is not a huge difference between Debian GNU/kFreeBSD with the 9.0 kernel and that of PC-BSD 9.0-RC2, with the kernel being very similar and both operating systems using the GCC 4.6 compiler series.

Debian GNU/kFreeBSD with the 9.0 kernel sees a small pop in performance.

In some areas, Debian GNU/kFreeBSD is slightly faster than PC-BSD 9.0.
