First up was the very basic OpenArena game, which showed Clear Linux and Fedora 23 Xfce both running much faster than Xubuntu 16.04 LTS. Even Xubuntu when switching over to Linux 4.6 Git and Mesa 11.3-devel was still trailing Clear and Fedora. Worth noting is that both Clear Linux and Fedora enable DRI3 by default for Intel graphics where Ubuntu does not and it isn't the default yet in the upstream xf86-video-intel DDX driver.

When increasing the resolution for OpenArena, Fedora 23 and Clear Linux both were at the forefront.

Unigine Valley is still a bit much for Intel graphics with the Mesa driver.
