Intel Core i9 10980XE: Windows 10 vs. Linux Performance

Windows 10 only picked up two wins via the ParaView visualization tests while securing first place in nearly half the tests carried out was Intel's Clear Linux open-source operating system.

If taking the geometric mean for all the tests that ran successfully on all twelve operating systems from the Intel Core i9 10980XE, here is how that looks... The Windows 10 November 2019 performance was basically in line with the aging CentOS 7 and just behind the slower Linux distributions like Solus 4 and Fedora Workstation 31. As shown in the earlier and much larger 11-way Linux OS comparison, Intel's own Clear Linux offered compelling performance advantages for maximizing the performance of the Core i9 10980XE while CentOS 8/Stream in second place for this eighteen core / thirty-six thread workstation.
