Wine 2.4 Released, Still Working Towards Direct3D CSMT
Wine 2.4 was released a few minutes ago as the newest bi-weekly development release for this program to run Windows games/applications on Linux and other operating systems.
Wine 2.4 provides built-in implementations of some crypto hashes, the Mono engine was updated with fixes, there is the ongoing work of Direct3D command stream (CSMT) preparations, simulated bold and italic support in DirectWrite, improvements to the XML reader, and at least 32 known bug fixes.
