GCC 4.8.2 Compiler Brings 70+ Bug Fixes

Jakub Jelinek of Red Hat released GNU Compiler Collection 4.8.2 this morning.

GCC 4.8.2 is the latest point release in the stable GCC 4.8 series while all major new developments are centered around GCC 4.9 that should be out in H1'2014.

GCC 4.8.2 corrects over 70 bugs compared to the 4.8.1 release from late May. More details on the GCC 4.8.2 compiler release can be found from the mailing list announcement.
