Graphics Dev Room Planned For FOSDEM 2014

Luc Verhaegen, the free software enthusiast and driver developer who has now been single-handedly organizing the X.Org/Graphics development rooms at FOSDEM for many years, sent out his "call for speakers" request on Tuesday. FOSDEM is taking place in 2014 the first and second of February. The "Graphics Dev Room" will be all about graphics drivers, input drivers, windowing systems, and other areas like color management. Among the windowing systems welcome are X.Org, Mir, Wayland, and DirectFB.
FOSDEM is one of my personal favorite Linux/open-source conferences around the world and I am generally there every year. It's a great event and the graphics/X.Org development room is obviously a favorite. In recent years it's only been a one-day affair but hopefully with enough graphics developers being interested it will go back to being both days of the weekend FOSDEM event.
