You are lucky. For me, Leap introduced around 4 regressions in last 9 kernel upgrades. Luckily booting previous non buggy kernel is easy....

If you mean linux as ecosystem, then yes, it is probably better than macos, but worse than windows. If you mean Linux as kernel, then it is super extreme...

ChromeOS uses Wayland since version 115. Android Linux kernel diff to vanilla is pretty low nowadays....
