Calamares 1.1-RC1 Distribution Installer Released

Version 1.1-RC1 of the Calamares Linux distribution installer framework is now available. This distribution-independent installer has garnered the interest of Manjaro, Kubuntu, and others seeking to make a more unified, better Linux installer. With Calamares 1.1, more features are coming.

Yesterday's release candidate of Calamares 1.1 brings an improved boot loader module with GRUB2 and Gummiboot support, EFI support for partitioning and boot loader, more robust partition detection, swap partition support with the automatic partitioning, updates to the Python modules API, user experience improvements, and other design enhancements.
