Once upping the Nexuiz resolution to 1920 x 1080, the frame-rate was the same between Mac OS X and Linux.

With OpenArena at 800 x 600, Ubuntu 10.10 with the NVIDIA blob was 22% faster than Mac OS X 10.7 DP2, which in turn was 9% faster than Mac OS X 10.6.6.

The OpenArena results at 1920 x 1080 shed a different story than Nexuiz. At this high resolution, the Mac OS X 10.7 11A419 performance is noticeably faster than in Mac OS X 10.6.6 or DP1. It is about 15% faster in the Apple world. The Ubuntu 10.10 NVIDIA 260.xx driver also regressed and was 15 frames per second behind Mac OS X Lion.
