The TSCP chess benchmark sees better performance on GCC 10 both for "-O3 -march=native" plus LTO improving over GCC 9, but the -O2 performance here also came in much lower.

John The Ripper saw the most severe hits at "-O2" with GCC 10 of all the tests we ran. Seeing such low -O2 performance on the GCC 10.2 snapshot is something I don't believe I've seen previously with the GCC 10 benchmarking in recent months.

The nosedive in GCC 10 "-O2" performance was also observed for GraphicsMagick.
