In some of the Firefox and Chrome web browser benchmarks, Ubuntu 21.10 did offer a nice speed-up over Ubuntu 21.04 on this AMD Ryzen laptop.

More than 120 tests were run in total on each of the different Ubuntu configurations benchmarked from this Ryzen-powered ASUS ROG laptop. Those wishing to see all of the benchmark results in full can go to this OpenBenchmarking.org page. There weren't as many performance surprises but at least now with Ubuntu 21.10 this laptop is running nicely out-of-the-box without having to worry about any initial keyboard or WiFi issues.
