Cascade Lake's context switching performance up to now has been great. The context switching speed with Cascade Lake is a big improvement over the Skylake mitigated performance, etc. Unfortunately now with TAA, the context switching speed measured by ctx_clock is multiple times slower.

Memcached was seeing small but measurable differences from the TAA mitigation.
